I wanted to pass along what takes up most of my time lately.

What I am Doing Now
I am a techie at heart. I love doing technical things. I love go build, break, diagnose, fix, and test systems, servers, and software. I spent 24 years as a techie, sprinkled with a large helping of business and IT consulting for a Fortune 500 company. I ended my 28 year career as one of the top IT guys (retired because EVERYBODY ELSE WAS RETIRING TOO!!). I am a network engineer, systems engineer, auditor, finance guy, and business process engineer by training, experience, and certification. I was successful by doing what others did not want to do. I never once asked for a promotion – I was ASKED to take these positions.
As a techie, marketing is hard for me. I really have to work at it. Being “retired”, I can pick and choose what I want to do. I can’t sit around slurping Mai Tai’s – gotta keep busy.
I have found that I am better a doing what I am most comfortable with – I build and market websites, blogs, ecommerce sites, safelists and traffic exchanges. Marketing in its simplest form is just telling a story so that OTHERS can become familiar with your product or service, building a relationship with your prospects, and gaining their trust so when the DO “get it”, (it takes 7 to 11 exposures), they come to YOU when they want to make a purchase.
I use WorldProfit tools and resources EVERY SINGLE DAY to support MY BUSINESS, that has nothing to do with WorldProfit. At any point in my day, I have one or more windows open to WorldProfit on my desktop. I spend substantially more time as a USER of WorldProfit rather than marketing WorldProfit products and services. And, THAT’S OK.
My businesses have evolved, and I said that I am doing what I am most comfortable doing. Well, with my network and computer operations background, my focus has shifted to building and managing THINGS ASSOCIATED WITH TRAFFIC. I acquired and built dozens of safelists and traffic exchanges. I manage these, and my (dwindling) fleet of blogs and websites, I “sell” safelist and traffic exchange memberships, my own list building multi-stream income system, and all of the programs included. I have become quite good at creating sales funnels, landing pages, and campaigns of follow-up messages using my many autoresponder systems.
