Howard, you are a Monitor who generously volunteers your time to help others in Worldprofit‘s home business community.
Can you offer some reasons why you enjoy being a Monitor?

This is my way of being part of a synergy of proven online business owners who want to speak the truth of what it truly takes to be successful online and share that wisdom globally.

Howard, what are some of the tools and resources in your Worldprofit Membership that you find most helpful in growing your own online business?

Extreme Exercise For Weight Loss Will It Work For You

If you want to lose weight, you probably don’t want it to take a long time. So you might be looking into extreme exercise for weight loss. You might think that if a little bit of exercise is good, a lot of exercise must be better. This isn’t always true. You can over exercise. And if you need to lose some weight, throwing yourself into extreme exercise right away isn’t going to do you any good. You could end up with an injury that can prevent you from exercising for a long time. And you don’t want that. While there may be workout routines that are called extreme exercise, it usually refers to simply exercising to excess. Instead of jogging for an hour maybe someone will do it for 2 to 3 hours. Or they work themselves to the point of exhaustion. While a few people might benefit from this extreme type of weight loss exercise, most people won’t.

Most people will become exhausted or injured and will burn out on the idea very quickly. The best way to lose weight through exercise is to take it steady and slow. Unfortunately, most people who want to lose weight don’t really have that kind of patience. The thinking is that results should happen quite quickly. And they usually don’t. You didn’t gain weight overnight, so you won’t lose it overnight no matter how much you exercise. If you don’t start slowly when you begin an exercise program but instead jump into it full force, you raise your risk of injury. Not to mention, you could burn out and not want to do it all.

If you decide that walking for 30 minutes isn’t good enough so you walk four times a day for 30 minutes, after a few weeks you might decide it’s not worth the effort. If you’re already very fit, extreme exercise might be for you. But anyone can exercise too much and damage their bodies. If you’re trying to lose weight, there’s probably not going to be a lot of extreme exercise you can handle. Trying to do too much too fast will not only risk injury, but it can be bad for your morale.

When you try to overdo it and find that you can’t, you might feel a little depressed about your physical state. It’s better to take it slow and build up your exercise level at a normal pace. While walking for 30 minutes at a brisk pace might not be as impressive as running a half marathon, it will help you meet your weight loss goals much quicker. If you try to train for a marathon or some other extreme form of sport when you’re not ready, you’re only going to discourage yourself. And if you’re discouraged, you’re not going to want to do the exercise. An exercise that you don’t do won’t help you lose weight. So while extreme exercise for weight loss might be the thing that "everyone" seems to be doing, don’t fall into that trap.

Explode Your Leads With Dynamite Sticky Handouts

You’ve put months into having your trade show booth designed. Now it’s finished or very close. You walk around your new booth like a proud parent when it suddenly dawns on you; you need promotional handouts to go with it! Where to start, though? The key to a great promotional handout for a trade show event is that it provides needed information about you and your business. But for it to stick, in other words, not get thrown in the trash, it has to have something a little more than just information. One of the very best ways to make sure your trade show booth handouts don’t get thrown away but will stick is to put an offer or coupon of some kind in them. Coupons that a person can use after the trade show event practically guarantee your handouts won’t get thrown away. After all, your customers will want to use the coupons! Sweepstakes and raffle offers also work well and assure your handouts will be read, kept and, better yet, used.

To get someone’s attention these days means you usually have to give them a little more than just information. They want STUFF. And so having a simple sweepstakes or raffle offer in your trade show booth handouts means that your handouts are more likely to be read and held on to. And here’s a great tip that many people forget. By using this sort of trade show booth handout, you have the opportunity to gather names and addresses. And it’s so easy! You can use them for follow up using direct mail, email newsletter and other marketing promotions long after the trade show event is over. This is an important part of marketing, using any venue or medium. Follow up is essential. What? You thought you’d just do a trade show event and make some sales and that would be it?

What about the potential customers who only need a little nudging or who may not need your product or service now, but will in the future? Are you going to just let them get away? The truth is that normally it takes six to seven times (and sometimes many more) to get a marketing or advertising message across to a consumer and make a sale. That’s why there are so many avenues for advertising and promotions to begin with-to give businesses more opportunities to get their marketing messages across. So the last thing you want to do is think a trade show booth event is all you have to do to make a sale. Use a sticky handout that allows you to gather contact information and by continually reaching out to those people who have shown an interest in you, you’ll ensure they show a return interest in you!

Exercising For Fat Loss Exercise Tips And Tricks That Will Help You Succeed

One of the most important things that you can do when trying to lose weight is to exercise. When you exercise, you burn calories. The more calories you burn, the more weight you lose. Unfortunately, exercising can be one of the most difficult things to do for people who are trying to lose weight. Creating a habit at a gym can be difficult, as many who are trying to lose weight do not exercise on a regular basis. These seven fat loss exercise tips and tricks will help you to stay focused and stick to a workout schedule. Work Out with a Friend If you find yourself bored at the gym, bring a friend. When you work out with a friend, you will have someone who can motivate you to come to the gym, and push you while you are at the gym. Lift Weights a Few Time Per Week If you want to lose weight and make your workout more interesting, lift weights.

The added muscle will help to burn more calories per day, and the ability to change your workout each and every time you come in will make the gym more interesting. Ditch the Daily Scale Routine If you are constantly stepping on your scale to check your weight, you may be giving yourself less motivation to work out. Checking your weight every day can be disheartening. Ditch the daily scale routine; track and record your weight once a week. Bring the Gym to your Home If you do not like working out at a gym, bring the gym to your home. You can easily purchase used cardio equipment, used weights, and used resistance bands.

With these tools, you can have a great home gym to get in the workouts you need to meet your weight loss goals. Watch Television Most gyms have cardio equipment with small televisions. Other gyms have large TVs to distract people during their cardio workout. If you watch your favorite shows while you workout, the workout will be more interesting, and will go by faster. Start Slow Do not try to do too much too soon. Your body will be too sore to workout on a regular basis. To avoid this issue, start with easy workouts. Upgrade the intensity as your body adjusts to your new workout schedule. Set Goals You need to make sure that you set measurable goals. These goals will help you to stay motivated, and will give you something tangible to strive for. Aim for small, reachable weight loss goals. All of these tips are designed to help you with your goals for fat loss. Exercise needs to become an important and regular part of your life. If you approach exercising with the right attitude, and with the right tips, you can make it a part of your every day routine. This dedication to working out will help you to meet your weight loss goals

Exercises To Lose Weight

What are the best exercises to lose weight? Well, I think that depends on you and what you like to do. The best way to lose weight is to find the things you like to do and then do them as often as possible. First of all, though, you will need to talk to your doctor to find out what he recommends. You need to be careful about the type of activities you do if you have any underlying health issues. Make sure you talk ot your doctor to find out what she reccommends not only for your diet but also for your exercise routine. After you’ve had a heart to heart with your doctor, you can then begin with your new workout plan. No matter how great your exercises to lose weight are, you will still need to eat the right kinds of food in the right amount. Losing weight will be about more than just one element. To really get the most out of your weight loss efforts and to keep your body healthy you will need to eat right and get more exercise.

Simple as that. Ideally, you will want to combine two types of exercise: cardiovascular and resistance. Both forms of exercise will allow you to get in better shape but you really want to do both. Cardiovascular exercise will help you increase your heart and lung capacity as well as strengthen those muscles. Doing cardio on a regular basis can also allow you to lower your blood pressure and possibly reduce your risk of stroke and heart attack. Resistance training will help your body in other ways. For one thing, if it’s done properly, there can be a cardio component to weight training too. If you do each rep slowly and smoothly you can increase your heart rate somewhat. But, the biggest benefit of doing resistance training is that you can build up your lean muscle mass.

Now, you must listen to this because it’s important, building lean muscle mass and "bulking up" are two totally different things. Unless you are a man, a genetic anomaly, or you take drugs you won’t bulk up "accidentally". But what you can do by adding more lean muscle is allow your metabolism to burn hotter all day every day and that can result in more weight loss no matter where you are or what you are doing. Having some lean muscle mass will also help you appear slimmer since the muscle will kind of "cinch" in your waist. It sort of acts like an all over girdle. Adding a solid diet full of lean protein and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, drinking plenty of water, getting plenty of sleep and doing your workout is the best way to get a great body more quickly. To get the most out of your fitness efforts and to find the best exercises to lose weight, you should talk to your doctor first then combine both cardiovascular and resistance training. That way you can build the body of your dreams.

Exercise For Stress Improves Your Health

There are many people today who are overstressed and on the lookout for ways to rid themselves of some of their daily stresses. There are many ways you can get some relief from your stress. Exercise for stress relief is probably one of the best since not only can you relieve your stress levels you can also improve other aspects of your health and fitness. We all know that too much stress can cause myriad health issues. Things like heart disease and diabetes are just the tip of the iceberg. We also know that exercise can help prevent many of these same diseases. So just imagine how much healthier you can be if you exercise and lose weight and stress at the same time! It’s a two for one.

Exercise for stress relief can come in many forms. It is all about getting your body moving and the endorphins flowing. For the most part, it is really just a matter of finding something that you enjoy doing. There really is not a right or wrong answer when you are trying to decide what type of exercise to do. Most of us have heard of the so called "runners high". This occurs when the body releases endorphins, the body’s "feel good" hormone, during exercise. But, you don’t have to be a runner to get this level of stress relief. You can do virtually any type of exercise you want as long as you don’t hurt yourself in the process. And that brings me to another point; if you have been sedentary for a while, have some health issues or are overweight you need to talk to your doctor before you start an exercise program. While it is true that exercise can help you improve your health, you may have to make modifications when you are just starting out or if you have other health issues. If you do not modify the exercises, you may make your situation worse, not better, by injuring yourself when you start exercising. Another thing to keep in mind when you are trying to figure out what type of exercise you should do are your own preferences.

Recently I have been hearing a lot about a workout called Zumba. My sister swears by it and has lost several pounds and she loves it. I was skeptical but I tried a class and I have to admit I’m hooked now, too. Not only do you get a great workout it really is fun. "Fun" is not usually the word people associate with working out. Other people love to do yoga. This form of exercise can help you stay limber and flexible but it will also help you relieve stress because it is relaxing, and has a flowing nature. You will also learn proper breathing techniques. And sometimes just hitting something can allow you to blow off steam. If that sounds like something you would like you may want to consider a boxing, kickboxing or martial arts class. As you can see by this short article, there is no shortage of exercise options for you. If you want to go to the gym and hop on a treadmill and lift some weights then that is what you should do. There are so many other great options to exercise for stress relief. The important thing is to find the one that you enjoy enough to stick with it.

Escalating Symptoms Of Anxiety

The Impact of the Escalating Symptoms of Anxiety Escalating symptoms of anxiety impact up to 40 million adults in the US per year. While it’s perfectly expected to feel nervous or anxious in certain periods of your life (graduating from school, starting a new job, losing a loved one, etc., people with anxiety disorders feel often and excessively worried for no apparent reason. The symptoms of anxiety can start innocently enough with just a worrying thought but often they progress quickly to more physical discomforts such as a pounding heart, heavy chest pain, lump in the throat, weakness, and dizziness.

Often referred to as panic attacks, escalating symptoms of anxiety may be diagnosed as a phobia, panic disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), obsessive compulsive disorder or other types of anxiety disorders. While each of these conditions are characterized by different symptoms, all of them are marked by an irrational and unwarrented dread and/or fear that usually worsens very quickly and leads to more severe physical symptoms.

The symptoms of anxiety can make you feel like you are completely losing control or "going crazy". Those who have suffered these symptoms will describe them as feeling like world is coming to an end, he/she is having a heart attack, or that he/she is going to die. What’s even more unfortunate, is that once you experience a panic attack in this magnitude, it can very easily become part of a viscious cycle which consists of the panic attacks themselves and the ever-present fear of having another panic attack. These anxiety symptoms can also lead to a multitude of phobias which render some individuals almost totally disabled.

One such phobia is agoraphobia, the fear of being trapped in a setting that makes the person feel extremely ill-at-ease and unable to escape. For this reason, the person may not even venture outside of his/her home. Because this type of anxiety can lead to such extreme disability, it is important to treat anxiety symptoms before they are allowed to climb the ladder to another disorder. The causes of anxiety are still not clear. But professionals do believe that it is likely that many factors contribute to a person?s chances of developing the condition. Scientists have broken down the potential causes into three groups, genetics and early learning, brain biochemistry, and the fight or flight mechanism. Sometimes the cause is a chemical imbalance in the brain which impairs the way messages are sent. Two of the primary neurotransmitters that affect a person?s feelings are serotonin and dopamine.

When there is an imbalance of these chemicals, a person can feel depressed or anxious. Anxiety disorders also tend to run in families, so if a person?s mom, dad, or other close relative has anxiety, they have a higher chance of developing anxiety themselves both because of genetic factors and learned environmental factors. The above information about the escalating symptoms of anxiety does not substitute medical advice given by a health professional.

Energy Healing – What Is It – What Does It Do – And Does It Work

Energy healing is the principle of re-aligning your internal energy force that can become out of balance due to illness or stress. Some people will literally tap on various parts of the body to re-align your energy. Other’s will re-align your energy from a distance, it could be thousands of miles away. The two most common types of problems claimed to be cured by this method are phobia’s and addictions. As you might expect, many of the ‘mainstream’ medical practitioners scoff at the idea of this form of treatment. But still there are millions of people worldwide who claimed to have used this technique and gotten virtually miraculous results. There is no evidence to suggest that this form of healing is unsafe in any way. Medical tests have actually been conducted to determine if this type of treatment has any merit. While the results were promising there does still need to be more tests done to evaluate the real effectiveness of this treatment. Some of the most common treatments for re-aligning your energy are: Acupuncture. This ancient Chinese method of re-aligning your energy or your Chakras has worked for thousands of years and has millions of converts who swear by it’s effectiveness. Meditation. This method too has been around for Centuries and with practice, can be used to activate Chakras to keep the energy flow in balance which can help prevent or treat illness. Many people today are more interested than ever in taking a step back and using some of the ancient health and wellness techniques that have been proven to be effective for centuries. The love affair we’ve had for so long with modern ‘miracle drugs’ is starting to wane. While many of us appreciate our advances we are also realizing that we can advance without turning our backs on other forms of treatments. Energy healing is just one such treatment. Millions of people worldwide attest to it’s healing powers and even medical professionals are starting to admit that even though there isn’t a lot of scientific proof to substantiate the effectiveness of these techniques that it is certainly worth keeping an open mind. The bottom line is, we don’t have all the answers and there might just be something to all these old practices.

Eliminating Confusion With MLM Pay Plans

When researching network marketing companies, many people get too hung up on MLM pay plans. There are many variations on pay plans, and while it is an important part of how you will be profiting in your MLM, keep in mind that you can do well with any plan, as long as you have a good product or service to sell, a lot of support from your company and team, and a structured system or program to follow. With that in mind, here is some advice when looking at MLM pay plans. Most experts will say that if the plan is too complicated for you to understand, then it is not worth getting involved. The reasons for this are that

(1) you will have a hard time setting goals for yourself if you cannot understand exactly how much you will be earning and

(2) even more importantly, if you find it difficult to explain a plan to someone that you are recruiting, there’s not a good chance that he or she will be willing to join you. However, if you’ve found a company that has a product you can genuinely vouch for, good standing in the industry, solid team support and structure, you can overlook the fact that the compensation plan is a little (or a lot) complicated. Others will say that the best plans are those that offer you a high commission on your sales of the products/services offered by the company. This also means that when you bring people into your business on your team, as part of your downline, you will make high commissions off of their sales as well. Network marketing is all about leverage — getting paid even when you aren’t the one who is actually making the sale. Others prefer getting paid less on products and more, in commissions or bonuses, on actually recruiting people. As mentioned earlier, as aspect of network marketing that is more important than its compensation plan, is the fact that you can integrated it into the lifestyle of yourself, your family, and your friends.

If you are a fitness nut, choose an MLM that sells products or services related to fitness. If you love cooking, find an MLM that deals with that. There is an MLM company for any type of field that you may be interested in. In fact, there are even MLM companies that offer MLM systems or products. In summary, the fundamental aspects of good MLM pay plans are that, with a few exceptions, they are easy to understand, and explain, and that you make a good deal of commission, not only when you make a sale or recruit a person into the business, but also when your team does so. These are the types of MLMs that you and your family can benefit from when you get to the point of leveraging your income.
