As overcomers, we’ve been warned that were’in a spiritual battle that demands special equipment. And the exploration of Ephesians 6 has revealed how wonderfully God has protected us by giving us exactly the equipment we need to wage this battle.
We’ve been well-supplied with the belt of truth. We’re protected by the breastplate of righteousness. Our feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. We carry the shield of faith, with which we can deflect all the fiery darts of the evil one. Our heads are covered with the helmet of salvation, the wisdom of God for every situation.
Every piece of this armor has one thing in common: it is all defensive by design. Its purpose is to protect us from the attacks of the Devil.
During my reading of a great book called Overcomer 8 ways to live a life of unstoppable strength, unmovable faith, and unbelievable power By Dr. David Jeremiah he outlines and shares these important scriptural verses in the bible.
So far I have enjoyed reading each chapter and this one wanted to share with my audience. As we approach another Election November lets put all our hope in our Savior Jesus Christ and not in the President, politicians, worship of Idols etc… This is a tough pill for many to swallow as believers but we are not of this world and this quote reminds me of it “Luke 12:24 Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds!
